HOMESCHOOLING

11/22/13

I came into the homeschool journey late. I have only been homeschooling just over 2 yrs and i only homeschool my youngest, who is now in 8th grade. I have one who is in 11th grade in public school, and my oldest 3 have all graduated.

I discovered quickly how daunting and overwhelming finding the right curriculum is. So naturally i did loads of googling, researching, and reading to find a curriculum that best suits our needs. One of the most instrumental books I read was Cathy Duffy's
"101 Top Picksfor Homeschool Curriculum". She even has a wonderful website http://www.cathyduffyreviews.com which I get regular emails from that discusses various homeschool curriculums, products, and educational websites.

A few days ago I received an email for a 30 day free trial for "Time4Learning" in exchange for writing an honest review of the program. (I've been invited to try Time4Learning for one month in exchange for a candid review. My opinion will be entirely my own, so be sure to come back and read about my experience. Time4Learning can be used as a homeschool curriculum, for afterschool enrichment and for summer skill sharpening. Find out how to write your own curriculum review for Time4Learning.) This is a site I have hears of and visited in the past. It can be a full fledged curriculum, or used as a supplement to any current curriculum. It covers Pre-K through High School.

I'm excited to give it a go. I will post updates throughout my one month trial, and then give a complete review at the end of my 30 days.
